Description
This is a character design sketch for a story I am illustrating. Though we (the writer Alan Jefferies and myself) are still beating the first part of the tale into shape, we've begun to plan the second part. The lizard man is an inhabitant of an alternate version of earth ... I may post more design drawings as I work them up.

Those are the most expensive pigments around ...
those details you speak about ( "delicate highlights to diamond shapes" ) are probably gonna be completely hidden ( it's for a pool, ain't it?) the water is gonna hide those highlights and those shitty details ... why bother ...
